The mobile lab is a crucial part of our expedition kit. For this journey, we were interested in trying to get the equipment to work in low resource settings. That is, we’re looking to show proof of principle that genetic data can be generated quickly without a lot of kit. Future work will involve optimising this for cost and throughput.
